Apple Ridge Daycare is open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Families are welcome to use those hours in the way that best meets their schedule.
Apple Ridge Daycare uses Mother Goose Timefor our curriculum. It's a nationally recognized preschool curriculum for the past 30+ years. The primary learning objectives include social, emotional and physical development, language and literacy, mathematics and reasoning, social studies, science creative arts and Spanish. Each day will contain a variety of activities both provider directed and child-initiated. These activities are designed to encourage large and small group development as well as individual growth. Our schedule also incorporates the use of outdoor play and large muscle activity.
Children learn best when there is a partnership between providers and parents. This bridge is connected through a our daycare daily email and material sent home that is relevant to our current curriculum and intended for our families to assist with learning at home. Measuring a child's growth is essential to ensure the child is meeting the specific benchmarks for their age. We present a portfolio of saved work samples to showcase and document their development. This gives you a comprehensive picture of your child's learning experiences.
Children are thirsty for knowledge and at this tender age they're sponges waiting to soak it up. It's my highest intention as a provider to prepare my daycare children for Kindergarten. With Mother Goose Time and my nurturing environment your child has every opportunity to succeed.
Apple Ridge Daycare offers a full food program of quality meals and snacks for children 12 months and older. Meals are prepared fresh daily which include fresh, whole and organic ingredients. Meals are served family-style and include the participation of the children. At meal time, the table is set with plates and flatware. The food is placed in small bowls from which the children can help themselves. Children are encouraged to serve themselves. Good table manners are modeled and encouraged.
Sick of lugging big boxes of diapers or showing up at daycare only to realize you have to run for more? Not again, diapers are included in your tuition. You'll never need to remember diapers again. I will always have quality diapers on hand for your child and use as many needed to keep them dry and clean during the day. So simple and easy!
